W Motors Hyper-Sport: Lebanon Unveils Its First Super Exclusive Hypercar

After decades of extended war with neighbor Israel, Lebanon has slowly climbed out of its desperate strife to become a burgeoning regional economic force. There is no surer sign of its potent recovery than the fact that the country has announced its first hypercar and supercar automotive manucaturer: W Motors. Following the upstarts of other rising economies like Poland (Arrinera De Veno), India (DC Design Avanti) and Mexico (Mastretta MXT), and even receding powers like Spain (Aspid GT-21 Invictus), Lebanese founder Ralph R Debbas revealed plans for its first highly exclusive hypercar at Beirut’s Sursock Palace, and information shared showed its more than just vaporware. W Motors will team up with 3 proven automotive companies to fortify the success of the venture: design will be handled by Studio Torino, Magna Steyr Torino will consult with the car’s construction, and highly regarded German aftermarket leaders (and Porsche specialists) RUF will consult W Motors with development. The Hyper-sport will be limited to only 5 examples worldwide, and will be “the most exclusive high performance car ever made,” Debbas promises. “Every element has been meticulously engineered to give the right balance between power, torque and speed, delivering the ultimate driving machine for a unique driving experience.” With obscene accoutrements like diamond-encrusted LED lights and a fully functional holographic display with interactive motion, the Hyper-sport is sure to meet the needs of the most voracious of the 1%. No word yet on powertrain specifics, but expect more news as the actual car nears its reveal in Dubai this coming December.
