WWII dramatically altered the landscape and design language of famed British automaker Bentley, making any appearance of any pre-war model all the more special. This speedy 4¼-Liter Bentley “Embiricos” was commissioned in the 1930s by Greek racer André Embiricos — and unique for its time, was the aluminum sheetmetal body, giving the car a sleek and dramatic, as well as an aerodynamic appearance that remains unique even to this day. This very model went on to race at the 24 Hours of Le Mans before being retired for careful preservation. Luckily, auto history buffs can now check it out at the Bentley Motors’ Pyms Lane head office location until September, before it heads to the Windsor Castle Concours d’ Elegance in London.
