Black & Tan Yamaha XS400 Custom

Austin motorcycle workshop Hold Fast Motors have just unveiled the “Black & Tan,” a custom 1979 Yamaha XS400 motorbike. The small workshop is run by Andy Hull who was inspired by the rough look and knobby tires of the Triumph ridden by Steve McQueen in The Great Escape, giving the bike a definite ’70s appeal. Originally intended as a cafe racer, the bike naturally evolved into the Brat/Scrambler hybrid it is now. Outfitted with a quilted tan leather seat and tan leather saddlebags, the “Black & Tan” pays homage to a classic vintage motocycle. Source
