Spain finally throws its hat into the European supercar wars While all sorts of countries from around the world are getting into the Supercar market — such as Poland with its Arrinera De Veno, India its DC Design Avanti, and Mexico its Mastretta MXT — Spain has kept conspicuously out of the dialogue. Not any more. Spanish auto manufacturing startup Aspid has just unveiled its plans to produce a GT-style supercar powered by a 4.4L V8 mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox or six-speed manual.
